When combined with employer specific training on the workplace exposure control plan, this course is designed to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens training. This course is designed for workers who have anticipated occupational exposure to blood and other potential infectious body fluids such as EMS providers, dental personnel, nurses as well as laundry and janitorial staff. Participants will learn how to protect themselves and others from blood and body fluid exposure including how to prevent needlestick injuries. Participants will learn via a mix of videos and interactive discussion. Course fee includes 1 year certification from the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) as well as access to a digital student textbook.
